About Osteopathy
Osteopathy is an established Primary Healthcare system, which means you don't need see your GP first, you can come straight to an Osteopath.
- Osteopathy mainly focuses on diagnosing and treating problems in the Musculoskeletal system i.e. muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, joints
- Osteopaths are trained to spot when the source of a problem or pain is not Musculoskeletal but is coming from another area of the body (e.g. organs like the gall bladder or kidney)
- Osteopaths can ensure you get a quick referral to other specialists if required
