Training to become an Osteopath

Osteopaths train for 4-5 years full time in the UK one of the very few Osteopathic training establishments (in partnership with UK Universities) to gain their knowledge of the human body and develop their Osteopathic 'Hands-On'/Manual techniques. They treat a variety of people from injured sports people, frail and elderly, to sedentary desk workers with postural problems to babies and children. However some Osteopaths choose to specialise and treat say, only athletes or only females and children. There are also some who specialise in treating animals.
